The link on Stars! autohost game status page for Navy World Map needs to be updated. The navy put up a redirect link to a page with many tools, but it was not very convenient for our purposes.

Seems like a good replacement to me. Of course, my geography is fairly good (in spite of a U.S. education).

So hopefully, whoever maintains the status page code will make an update to a link such as the one Donjon suggested.

Bystander, perhaps you didn't look too closely at the page that redirect pointed to. The map is right here: http://www.usno.navy.mil/USNO/astronomical-applications/astr onomical-information-center/world-tzones.

The page Donjon suggests has a map, too, and that map shows current time in some time zones when you go to the page, which some people might find convenient. That map is no good for printing, though, should anyone want a printout of a time zone map.

Maybe links to both locations could be set up ?

Thanx to an article about Google no longer supporting mapplets - or rather their being evicted from the database, I've discovered this cool timezone map:

http://maps.google.com/maps/mapplets?moduleurl=http://www.da ylightmap.com/time/zone_gadget.xml

(this link is to the new mapplet directory so will keep working for at least awhile)
