Greetings all:

At 2420 you have the option to go to 36 hours or 48 hours.

Which would you prefer? Rolling Eyes

Although you have not given the option I think that every week day would be good and then not at the weekends.

Not keen on having the game move too slowly as it will take forever to complete Sad

What does everyone think?

I think 36 hours m-f would be the best and no gens on sat & sun

36 hours M-F with no generations on Saturday and Sunday is easier said than done Bounce

Its like Monday at 3:00 GMT
Tuesday at 15:00 GMT
Wednesday no generation
Thursday at 3:00 GMT
Friday at 15:00 GMT

Or something like that. Shocked

But if you (all) turn in early - it will skip a generation and then the clock gets all screwed up (or it looks that way, kinda sorta) - if you are looking for a fast generation -

But if everyone turns in promptly- there are no problems Cool

Unless you want some strange generation schedule, your options are:

1. 36 hours
2. 48 hours
3. M T W T F generation
4. M W F generation
5. Tues Thurs Saturday generation

I would prefer a 'FORCED' generation either 36 - 48 hours. Either would do, since I travel alot I might just miss one / two if we stay at 24 hours.

No generation on the weekends would be a bonus, but I don't mind. It would give us more time for 'diplomacy' and planning.

Cheers.

I'm trying to do this without me having to remember to put this game "on hold" for the weekend...

So if you can figure out some way for me to automate it - i will try to accommodate your wishes. Cool

I guess we should try for at least 4 gens/week.

A schedule like:
Mon 24:00 GMT
Wed 12:00 GMT
Thu 24:00 GMT
Sat 12:00 GMT
Should be fine for everybody.
Any slower will take forever to finish the game. Confused

If not possible, then 48h with force-gen could be another great option.
We could turn in fast during the week and 48hrs would give us plenty of time for a free week-end. Cool

We can always slow down later, should some gatactic war erupt. Twisted Evil

But that's only my opinion.

Hello again

I agree with the schedule above. I think that if people don't want weekends (which I think is a good thing) then we should try and have at least 4 or 5 generations per week. This would open itself to that given above or MTWTF (24 hour). Either is amenable to me.

Confused
Sorry to post again so soon. Was wondering if on the schedule at the minute it means that we have one gen on thurs at 23:00 and then on fri at 00:00 (ie one hour after the last gen?) What is this supposed to be?
