Fixed Time / Duration[ 9 votes ]
1. Fixed Date/Time like 3pm 3 / 33%
2. Duration like all 24h 6 / 67%

I always wanted to create a poll in this forum, now there
is a reason...

I think the 2 options are
"turn every day at 3pm with pregen if all are in"
or
"generate if all turns are in or at least 24h after last generation"

please vote only once Laughing

Robert

PS: hope I created the poll correctly, its my first one...

Ok, my vote is is and it seems to work...

just wanted to mention that the "time" can be updated by vote
if the game begins to be complex. I suggest we start with 24h
as posted in the announcement.

Its just a question of the method here...

My vote was for fixed time as it provides consistancy with fixed work schedules.

If the concensus is for a specified duration, could we extend it a few hours to say - 27 hours? I can't be the only one with a narrow band of opportunity to play on weekday evenings.

With a 24 hour period, I can forsee situations where the last few player's turns are uploaded shortly after my last status check of the night. If my status check revealed several player's turns outstanding and a fair amount of time remaining on the duration clock, I might log off relatively early in the evening to do other things. I would then not be aware of the time crunch I would under the following evening until that next evening. And If I happen to get home late from work, the situation gets even worse.

Thanks for consideration.

Tom
