Has anyone investigated the 3 resources in the EXE. I think these are numbered 10001-10005 for jrc4. They appear to be files with the J3J3 header (I've not investigated what types of files they are yet).

At first I thought they were related to the tutorial, but I was still able to play (at least the start of) the tutorial after I deleted them from the EXE.

Just a thought...

Wouldn't those be templates for hst, m, x and h files?

That was my initial thought too. I guess I can test the header to see what filetypes they claim to be.

But I deleted them from the EXE and the tutorial still worked so... having said that since I did this in the middle of the night (insomnia!) I could have done something silly like load up the wrong EXE Wink

You might check your ftp settings, because it worked just fine for me just a second ago. If you keep having trouble just let me know.

If we were esteemed intelligent 'enough', they would have contacted us.
If we can not find them, either we are not smart enough, or they are smarter at hiding.

You can change the tech items available with StarEd but not PRT/LRT specifics or game mechanics. Look for more customizability in FreeStars.
