Gents, I understand that both the Legion and the Woblor are dropping out due to family commitments.

This leaves only 7 out of the 16 starting players, and (in my view) seriously upsets the balance of the game.

Do we continue the game ?

Well I'm happy to go with whatever people would like to do.

Is there a clear victor, or victors? Either before or after the dropout?

Also would the remaining players like a second game? I am able to host, and this time probably won't be moving house one week in... Wink [And hence won't be so distracted, and have continual net access]

BTW: The game was put on hold by Ron due to a power outage. However I'm not sure if there is any point restarting now..

Regards,
nash

Also, I'd love to see a game summary if anyone wants to write one!

Feel free to be as biased as you like...

..I would definately be interested to know what the other players game plans were !

Also,

Why did the Pioneers attack me ?

Were the Qs and the Darks allies ?

What were the Speckv2 up to ?

Why did the Lemmings not attack me when they had the larger fleet ? Why did they split into smaller groups which I could kill ?

What PRT/LRTs did players use ? What were the final scores/resource levels, etc

Richard

As for another game - Im in, however I will be on holiday foe 3.5 weeks in August !

Ok, just doing some varification and letting other people know assuming this is the end. If it is then I'll tell you what was going on.

Though I think its pretty safe to say right now that the Woblor were pretty much done. He didn't have the weaponry to resist any longer and the Legion couldn't defend him adequately after his croby hordes got outdated.

Lets assume 24 hours. If no-one objects withing 24 hours from the time of my initial annoucement - we can assume the game is over...

And of course the question is who is the winner:
- Can everyone post me a screen shot of their score
- And also who you think is the winner...

Additionally: I think it would be cool to have a "best player" award. Not (necessarily) the winner, but the person who you thought was the best person to play with (and why). So if you want to nominate someone for that it would be good.

These can be done either privately or publically (I have heaps of webspace if someone wants to post a screen shot).

It would be a good idea to send out an email to everyone before making the final decision. Many don't log on to the forums regularly. I just stumbled in here myself because the game has been on hold for awhile.

I sent you my response along with the current game situation as I see it. I'll give a recap of things from my perspective publically if things are decided. It was an intriguing game though. I don't think a lot of people know half of what all went on at some points. I'm sure I probably don't either though. I'll be interested to hear perspectives from the north certainly.

I've been asked how you make a screenshot by a player...

Can someone answer here for me...

Thanks.

[I use Gnome/Linux, so I just select the "take screenshot" menu item...]

You can download a good print screen utility from PC World:

That's what I did, and it worked nicely.

In Windows XP you press Ctrl+PrtScr
Then go to a graphics program (Paint will do) and select "Paste"

Hi guys!

Been out of the loop kindof for a while (Been building our house)

I think it's safe to say the game is over. I'd just like to say that I'm probably either sneakyest or best diplomat in this game (Not to blow my own Horn) I was Allies with everybody yet probably the weakest easily defeatable race in the entire game. I was AR with 9 planets. The aguard bordered me in from the start and I decided to colaborate with the "Resistance" as a Spy for fleet movement and the such. Could have Gotten VERY interesting if the Pioners joined the Q-tips, Darks and Lemming (I think) and could probably have held them back. I was getting a lot of Lemming planets cleaned out by the asguard for nothing so I could maybe have Stayed allied with everybody Till I got my AR Mineral lead and could mabey have won if I had played my cards right

Anyways, Just how I saw the game.
