Hello everyone;

Just wanted to post here that the game has been reset to year 2490 and will resume MWF turn generation on Monday. Have fun!

'Bout time! My file for this turn was submitted almost a MONTH ago! The bad guys appear to be lacking motivation. Multi bounce

C'mon, get your turns in, fer cryin' out loud! This is the only Stars game I've got going and I wanna play!

Sorry 'bout the delay. Spent all my time happy holidaying. wOOt 1

Only one game?!? I think you need about 3 more SD games with daily generation fur a handicap; yur tearing me up. Ahhh, but all those years of scientists toiling away are finally starting to pay off. Now if I just had a decent design engineer. Guess I'll have to outsource.

Laughing Fat chance. I've got my hands full with this one. Not long ago I spent an ENTIRE Saturday doing my turn. I mean, I got up early and sat poring over my turn all day long until late at night, doing nothing else. Wife brought meals to the computer desk. Smile But that was probably when I managed to take the init from you guys and exchanged my defensive posture for an offensive one.

I'm not entirely sure, however. I didn't fully understand the significance of my move until later. I was just trying to make the best of what appeared to be a bad situation, so I can't remember for certain if that particular Saturday was the important turn where I abandoned an apparently hopeless defense of Scott to embark on a split offensive in the south. The Sivxi atack on Scott provided the opportunity because of the certainty that he could not reinforce your fleets in time, being at my planet with no gate access. What appeared to be a distressing loss of a strategically important and high-production planet at first glance proved to be an opportunity of far greater value, given the time to find it. Lemonade from lemons, one might say.

But back to the main point, it takes too much time (not to mention mental stress and anguish) to outmanuever you and Freakyboy, for me to be engaging in other games. After all, I have only ONE Saturday per week. Laughing I've been tempted to join other games but I decided that if I get involved in even one more, at some point it would be too much of a burden to give you guys a run for the money. I regard both of you highly, and if the Han and the Zoid can beat you two I'll be proud.

Scientists? Oh yeah, THEM guys. We fired all them a long time ago. Very Happy

Design engineer? Oh yeah, THEM guys. We fired all them years ago too, and now we just use monkeys. Send us the plans for a basic nubian hull and I'll turn 'em loose for ya, see what they can cook up. I'll give you exclusive production rights to a nubian design unlike any the universe has ever seen before! (How's a warp5-capable nubian with one of everything sound?) Razz

YR2493:

Well, time to re-employ the Zoid engineers and researchers. Maybe the monkeys can assist us in the scrapping of my now-useless battlefleet. We may have to substitute monkeys for turkeys next Thanksgiving. Laughing

Very ugly nubians, I must say. Can't stand the sight of 'em.

You have the init once again, while I backpedal as fast as possible. Lets see what you do with it before I take it back from ya. Cheers

I'M NOT AN EXPERT AND I'M OFTEN PROVEN WRONG. TAKE THAT INTO CONSIDERATION WHEN YOU READ MY POSTS.
